I FACED a barrage of protests the day I spoke out against women giving out leaflets about abortion in the city centre. You had to have permission to distribute leaflets and an application was made to car accessories my committee, Environmental Health. I was opposed to it because the leaflets were getting into the hands of young children. I believe it is a woman's right to choose, and this was not an anti- abortion protest Leather Pandora by me.
When the issue came before the council meeting, there was a protest outside.
Trevor told me that I would not win the vote. When I did lose I was really angry and decided that I would go home and leave the meeting early. At the time we only had one car so I took the car keys out of my handbag and threw them down towards Trevor, who was sat a few rows in front of me.

It was all over the papers that I had thrown a bunch of keys at Trevor and stormed out. I never threw them at him, but to him, however the papers had made up their own minds.
